If you are renting a building, you can get insurance for it if you can show that you will suffer a financial loss if something happens to that building. This financial stake or relationship with the building is what is called insurable interest. So, as a renter, you can get insurance for the building you are renting if you can prove that you would be affected financially if something were to happen to it.
A valuation of the insured property will be done after the customers purchases insurance to ensure the accurate values have been provided.

If you sell your house and need to cancel your insurance policy, you can let us know. If you cancel the policy, we will keep a portion of the premium for the time the policy was active. If you cancel after making a claim during the policy period, there will be no refund. Additionally, if you pay your premiums monthly, there are no refunds for any unused portion of the premium
